FOR
TOP
LOADING
WASHING
MACHINES OF THE
2008 "FUZZY" SERIES, WITH "CUORE" POWER MODULE OF
THE "EASY" TYPE
- INVENSYS MAKE, WITH BUILT-IN PROGRAM SELECTOR.
A)
PRELIMINARY CONDITIONS TO THE ACTIVATION OF SELF-DIAGNOSIS:
Empty the drum from any laundry an water
(self-diagnosis must be carried out with machine empty),
since during the self-diagnostic checking routine all normally available anti-unbalancement protections
are deactivated.
Connect the Washing Machine to both the hydraulic and electric networks.
Connect a
20A/AC reading scale digital ammeter, in series with one of the two phases of the mains
wire of the Washing Machine, to allow the reading of all electromechanical loads once they are fed
during the Self-diagnostic Checking Routine.
Set
the
Program
Selector's
Knob
(ref.

OFF
position,
taking
good
care
of
checking that any previously running Washing Cycle was annulled/canceled.

ALL Control Panel's LEDs are turned ON together with fixed light, and stay ON for ALL the Self-diagnosis.
NOTE: If the START
/ PAUSE Button is not pushed within
10 seconds from the moment ALL LEDs are turned ON
together, than the Self-diagnostic Checking Routine is aborted and must be restarted from beginning,
after having resetted the Washing Machine.

DESCRIPTION OF THE STEPS OF THE SELF-DIAGNOSTIC ROUTINE:
Phase
1:
Activation
of
Drain
Pump
and simultaneous
carrying-out
of
a Short
Spin
Sequence
approximately
lasting
12 seconds,
at the half of the maximum available speed.
Phase
2:
Pause of
5 seconds.

3:
Water
Fill
through
the
Pre-wash
Detergent
Compartment

fed
the
E.V.

being the Motor still, for
6 seconds.

FINE:
End of the Self-diagnostic Checking Routine.
All
LEDs of Control Panel start flashing together and
(after the needed time) the Door Lock Safety Device is deactivated.
NOTE:
The
Self-diagnostic
Checking
Routine
can
be
interrupted
at
will,
in
whatever
instant,
by
simply
pushing and holding the START
/ PAUSE Button
(ref.
3 in Picture
2).
In case of troubles while starting
the Self-diagnosis, we suggest to reset the Appliance and carry out first a "Pre-wash" Washing Cycle.

DISPLAYING THE CODES OF ERROR:
All
these
new Washing Machines
equipped
with
"Cuore"
Power Modules
operated
by
the
"Fuzzy"
technology,
feature
a
sophisticated
software
capable
of
immediately
recognizing
the
presence
of
the
most
important
anomalies. In such cases, the currently carried out Washing Cycle is immediately halted and it's simultaneously
displayed the related ERROR CODE.
Each ERROR CODE is displayed through the flashing at
1
Hz
(one
flash
per
second)
of
the
dedicated
Control
Panel's LED: see Picture
3. The number of flashes at
1 Hz tells the number of the ERROR CODE.
Example:

2: the LED indicated in Picture
3 by the arrow, flashes
2 times at the frequency of
1 Hz and then stays
OFF for
5 seconds. Sequence is repeated, until User's intervention.

To reactivate the Appliance after an ERROR CODE was displayed, it's indispensable to "reset" the software and
this
is
done by setting the Program Selector's Knob to OFF for a few seconds. If some water should be present
in
tank,
select
and
execute
the
"Drain
Only"
Washing
Program,
until
the
tank
is
completely
emptied
from
water.
Than
set
and
start
again
a
normal
Washing
Program.
If
the
previously
found
anomaly
shouldn't
be
present
anymore, the Program will be carried to end normally. On the contrary, also the newly set Washing
Program will be halted by the displaying of the ERROR CODE.
